Issui keeps her head down for a moment while she fusses with the makeshift ice pack and tries to pull herself together. So she's a little startled again when Renji sits down next to her. She doesn't think she jumps, but who knows at this point. She apparently can't cover up a limp today, so she probably couldn't cover this either. Come on Yanagi.
She looks over at Renji, hopefully a little less teary looking now. Wait. Issui shifts a little on the couch, so she's not half facing away anymore. There. "I-- I'm fine. It's dumb." She leans back into the couch and sighs. "It's just... Nana would know what to do about this, no problem." She waves vaguely at her leg.
Oh boy, what a fine thing to talk to Renji about. Yes, let's talk about all those people we probably won't see again. How nice. She really needed the reminder of just how little time like this they have left. Knock it off, Yanagi. You can be sad later.
"I guess it's a good thing we're going to be working on throwing things, huh?" You don't need two working legs or even one for that, so far as she can tell. Not that her leg is that bad, but you know. It's something to keep in mind.
